This Week/Last Week, Snowmen Family

Snowman Family
We each made a snowman with as many snowballs as we had in our name plus 1 for the head. Stop by the class room and see our snowman family.

Sophia's Last Week :(

Sophia's last week at our school.
As many of you know Sophia and her family are in the process of moving out of state. We were all sad to see her leave. Below are a couple of silly pictures that we took this week. We wish Sophia and her family well on there new adventure!

Mittens

Our theme for this short week was "mittens."
We read "The Mitten" by Jan Brett

We sewed our own mitten so we could fill it with our animals and retell the story.

We learned about symmetry and created our own pair of symmetrial mittens.
